Love in the Word Church

Focus Ecclesiates 1

The Teacher is right if our perspective is in the world. I too am a misfit, never really fitting in, and I know the feeling of helplessness! That, my family, is the point! Solomon was right, there is nothing new under the sun and no matter how hard we try, we cannot fix this world. But, This world is not our home! We were never meant to fix it! It is NOT about us! When we focus on the perspective of the world where Satan rules, we will always see pain and suffering. However, when we focus on the Kingdom we have assurance that Christ has already overcome because Satan is a toothless lion. Satan's gift is deceiving us by getting us to focus on what we see rather than on our faith which is what we can't see! Having suffered from depression, I can say with great confidence and authority that I know how to feel like Solomon, but I also know how to live like Jesus! When I focus on doing God's work. HE is responsible for the outcome - He has already overcome! This place is not our home! So don't look over, look up and as you see lives being saved and transformed even in the midst of evil and darkness, the Light of Christ will fill your soul and rather than looking for the light, you will become the light. He who has ears to hear, hear what the Spirit is giving us! Amen.
